IMPACT is an annual conference designed to celebrate, motivate, and inspire educators in local public and private schools. Registration is free, and CPE credits are available for participating school districts.
Featuring
Keynote Speaker: Laura Wilkinson
Laura is a three-time Olympian, Olympic gold medalist, World Champion, and five halls of fame inductee. After nine years of retirement and with four kids in tow, she returned to the sport she loves and, at 43 years old qualified for the finals of the 2021 Olympic Trials. Her passion for facing challenges head-on and overcoming every obstacle that stands in her way will motivate any audience to rise and discover their greatness. She is an author and podcast host.
Residing in The Woodlands, Laura owns a coaching business, teaching athletes the mindset of a champion.
Speaker: Melvin Adams
Melvin Adams knows firsthand how to achieve great things despite challenging circumstances. Even though he was only 5’8”, he became a two-time NCAA All-American basketball player and the team captain of the World Famous Harlem Globetrotters. Melvin Adams equips audiences with those same ideas that took him to the top despite his circumstances. He also encourages audiences to always aim for more by giving them practical ideas for improving circumstances.
Born and raised in Houston, Melvin has the heart of a Mentor and the personality of a Comedian.

Speaker: Madi Franquiz
Madi is a Harvard graduate student, small business owner, an international nonprofit CEO, and a published children’s book author. She is also the youngest founding member of the United NaNons Literacy Task Force and its first Youth Ambassador. Madi resides in Dallas, where she is a Collin County Junior League Member.

Host: Logan Johnson
Logan was a star football player through high school and college and became tragically paralyzed in a car accident. He was able to go through physical therapy to learn how to walk again and was then drafted by the Seattle Seahawks. Logan now owns a gym in Houston and is a motivational speaker.
While Logan was a world-class athlete, he learned to read when he was 21 years old. Logan’s teachers allowed him to pass his classes just because he was an athlete. He had one speech teacher who didn’t let him slide through and wanted him to participate and earn his grade. Due to this one teacher pushing him, Logan is now pursuing motivational speaking.
Host: Liv Harrison
Liv is best known for being a professional speaker and emcee with a gift for humor and storytelling. In May 2019, Liv successfully created and launched the Genius Catholic Women’s Conference. It was produced again in March 2020. Liv is married to the love of her life and high school sweetheart, and she is the mother of two fantastic humans!
Dollars for Districts:
Schools with the most attendees per district may qualify for a $500 grant through Dollar$ for Districts.
