The 2021-2022 Prospective Member Class is full; however, we are accepting waitlist applicants.

Thank you for your interest in joining the Junior League of The Woodlands (JLTW)!  We are an organization committed to promoting voluntarism, developing women, and bettering North Harris and Montgomery counties through those efforts. 

Women are invited to join at any life stage if they have the willingness to serve the communities and develop their own leadership potential through JLTW. Our Members are doctors, lawyers, moms, teachers, Veterans, grandmothers, first-generation Americans, entrepreneurs, students, retirees, and everything in-between.

Eligibility Requirements

To join Junior League of the Woodlands, a prospective Member must demonstrate an interest in volunteering, and show a commitment to community service. Prospective Members must be 22 years old by May 31 of the year they join, be a legal resident of the Greater Houston Metropolitan area, and attend one information session. A sponsor is not required to join.

 

Time Commitment

  • Monthly General Membership Meetings
  • Provisional Education and Training Meetings
  • Complete the required number volunteer shifts (including those at the annual Holiday Market)
  • Participate in a Provisional class project
  • Day time and night time flexibility
  • More information and specifics will be made available at a Prospective Member Information Session

Prospective Member Information Sessions

The 2021 – 2022 Prospective Member Class has reached its maximum, however, we are accepting waitlist applicants in the event of a change.

We offer information sessions in the spring for Prospective Members to learn about the Junior League’s mission, community programs, and requirements.

If you are interested in getting more information about being part of the 2021-2022 Provisional Class, please fill out the New Member Interest form below. You will then receive the option to register for one of the following information sessions:
• April 22nd
• May 11
June 10 (cancelled due to meeting maximum number of class applicants.)
