Presidents Message

Welcome! I invite you to explore our website and learn how the Junior League of The Woodlands began with 68 empowered, bold, courageous women on a mission to serve and make a difference in our community as well as create a place for women to learn and lead. We are forever grateful for their vision and dedication and follow in their footsteps today as an organization committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. We are honored to be part of The Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc., an organization that spans across 4 countries, 292 Leagues, and includes over 140,000 individuals, creating a network of volunteers with a vision of: Women around the world as Catalysts for Lasting Community Change.

This year has presented us with unprecedented and unexpected challenges. Times such as these highlight the strength and adaptability of League Volunteers and ignite passion within our Members to create new and innovative programs to meet the needs of our community. Junior League of The Woodlands’ greatest asset is our Members, whose efforts this year will help to provide over $1 million in volunteer time, programming, and direct financial assistance to our community programs and partners. We truly believe that we are Better Together with a common ground of fulfilling our Mission while navigating through constant change. We have continued to find ways to harness the power of voluntarism by tackling our society’s most critical issues and helping to transform our communities while training our women to lead.

Thank you for your interest in The Junior League of The Woodlands. We are grateful for your support.
